Chronic Pelvic Pain Overview:

Chronic Pelvic Pain (CPP) is defined as non-cyclic pelvic pain of 6 or more months. It's a symptom rather than a condition, and can be the result of a wide range of different pathological processes.


Aetiology:

Common in cases of recurrent thrush, cystitis, endometriosis, and dysparenunia. other causes include  postoperative adhesions, pelvic varices, interstitial cystitis and irritable bowel syndrome.
